Dr. Boukerrou has excellent partnership building skills at the local, national, and international levels. As a Chief of Party, Dr. Boukerrou has brought on board a number of organizations to raise funds, which results in over 5.5 million dollars in matching funds or direct contributions to the USAID WA-WASH. These contributions enhanced the program results and allowed the US taxpayers funding to go beyond the projected initial objectives. The implementation of the USAID WA-WASH Program required more than 20 local, national, regional, and international organizations. In other capacities, Dr. Boukerrou’s put together teams for the implementation of various projects (click here for the list of projects implemented by Dr. Boukerrou) such teams included academic institutions, non-profit and for profit organizations as well as government agencies.
